Ingredients
2 cups semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line a 9×9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute, then let sit for 1 minute before stirring until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (2 hours for best texture).
- Once firm, lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Notes
Mini chocolate chips melt more evenly, but regular chips can also be used.
For clean cuts, use a sharp knife warmed under hot water and wipe between slices.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
Customize with nuts, marshmallow fluff, mint extract, or toppings like sea salt or candy canes.
