Description

This Old-Fashioned Creamy Chocolate Fudge is a rich, smooth, and velvety treat made with just three ingredients. It’s a no-fuss, microwave-based recipe that’s perfect for gifting or indulging anytime.

Ingredients

2 cups semi-sweet mini chocolate chips

1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then let sit for 1 minute before stirring until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (2 hours for best texture).
  7. Once firm, lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Notes

Mini chocolate chips melt more evenly, but regular chips can also be used.

For clean cuts, use a sharp knife warmed under hot water and wipe between slices.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.

Customize with nuts, marshmallow fluff, mint extract, or toppings like sea salt or candy canes.
