A festive, no-bake holiday candy made with soft marshmallow nougat and colorful fruity gumdrops. This nostalgic treat is easy to prepare, perfect for gift boxes or dessert trays, and brings a cheerful pop of color and flavor to any celebration.
Ingredients
10 ounces gumdrops (such as Dots candy)
10 ounces mini marshmallows
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 ¾ cups white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add white chocolate chips and microwave on high for about 2 ½ minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and smooth.
- In a separate microwave-safe bowl, combine mini marshmallows and butter, then microwave on high for 2 minutes until marshmallows puff and butter melts.
- Stir the marshmallow mixture until smooth, then quickly mix in the melted white chocolate until fully combined.
- Fold most of the gumdrops into the mixture, distributing them evenly.
- Spoon the nougat mixture into the prepared pan and press it down evenly using greased hands or parchment paper.
- Press the remaining gumdrops on top for decoration.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (or overnight) until set.
- Once firm, slice into squares and serve.
Notes
Use red and green gumdrops for a classic Christmas look.
Add peppermint or vanilla extract for extra holiday flavor.
