Chocolate Peanut Butter No-Bake Cookies are a quick and indulgent treat made with a perfect combination of chocolate, creamy peanut butter, and oats. No oven required!
Ingredients
1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups quick-cooking oats
A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or wax paper to prevent sticking.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa powder. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Let it boil for 1 minute without stirring once boiling.
- Remove the saucepan from heat, then stir in the peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Mix in the oats until fully combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheets. Let set for 30-45 minutes at room temperature, or refrigerate for faster setting.
Notes
- Add mini chocolate chips on top before they set for extra chocolate goodness.
- Sprinkle sea salt for a sweet-salty flavor combo.
- Use chunky peanut butter for more texture.
- If in a rush, refrigerate the cookies to speed up the setting process.
