Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
8 oz egg noodles
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, until fully cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet used for cooking the chicken, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
